I can't believe I only discovered Howard's Famous Bacon and Avocado Burgers last year--this place has been serving up incredible food for ages, and I regret not trying it sooner! From the moment you walk in, you can tell it's a classic, no-frills spot that's all about quality and flavor. Their signature bacon and avocado burger is nothing short of perfection. The beef is juicy and cooked just right, the bacon adds the perfect crispy, smoky bite, and the avocado? Fresh, creamy, and generously portioned. Every bite is packed with rich, satisfying flavor, and you can tell they use top-notch ingredients. The fries are always crispy, the portions are generous, and the service is friendly and fast. It's the kind of place that feels like a neighborhood secret, yet it's been around for years, quietly serving some of the best burgers in town. I only wish I had discovered it sooner--but now that I have, I'm making up for lost time! If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and grab a burger here. You won't regret it!

You may not know it yet but, Howard's here may be the most SoCal Burger vibes ever. Perfectly constructed, no mess burger. Fresh ingredients, clean griddle and fry oil and great vibes from the staff. A perfect neighborhood joint only 5 miles from the beach.

Amazing fresh food. I love coming to get the Howard special here. I have been seeing it for years and never stepped in until two years ago. I love their food.

Chili cheese fries are amazing! Also love the chicken tacos, ask for avocado on it, you'll thank me later :)

Old school since 1971. A few years ago I ate here and it was okay, but just wow what a turn around on quality since that day. I ordered the basic cheeseburger with all the usual fixings, tomato, lettuce, pickles, mustard, ketchup and onions. The burger was delicious and for the price you can't beat it. Definitely one of the best burgers on the westside.

OK, get the regular stuff out of the way the food, delicious, the service always great, the ambience, your basic hamburger joint ... As I stated in my first review, they make some pretty delicious food here and I guess that's a good thing because it's about a small place that delivers awesome taste,,,, hahaha ... and I was not trying to rhyme ... The Place is clean and kept & the variety of sodas they have is very cool . So if you're in the area drop by and grab a cheeseburger.

So, I accidentally pulled into wrong parking lot and instead of Fatburger, I arrived in front of Howard's Famous Bacon Burger Restaurant... very lovely and helpful staff and although, not exactly what I was expecting, it is an okay place... it is super clean and I love that and it's a local business... I ordered 2 servings of zucchini fries ... I was trying to be healthy...:))) Anyway, served with ranch dressing, they were delicious and perfectly balanced between breading and zucchini! Loved them. Bringing the rest of these home to serve tonight with my air fryer salmon entree and a salad ! The person who was sitting at the other booth had the "whole works" ( avocado, bacon -burger with cheese and potato fries) and he gave it 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up! So, it definitely was a happy missed turn accident... so close to home and again, just a lovely experience !
